1. Introduction

Welcome to STRIDESG ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our marketplace platform that connects service providers with customers in Singapore.

STRIDESG provides a digital platform where service providers can create listings for their services, and customers can discover and connect with service providers. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Important Notice: Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue the use of our platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

2.1 Agreement to Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using STRIDESG, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and STRIDESG.

2.2 Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use our platform:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Not be prohibited from using our services under Singapore law or any other applicable jurisdiction
  • Comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content

2.3 Business Users

If you are using STRIDESG on behalf of a business or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you as an individual and the entity you represent.

3. Description of Services

3.1 Platform Overview

STRIDESG provides:

  • A marketplace platform connecting service providers with potential customers
  • Tools for service providers to create and manage service listings
  • Search and discovery features for customers to find services
  • Communication channels between service providers and customers
  • Profile management and account features

3.2 Platform Role

STRIDESG acts as an intermediary platform only. We facilitate connections between service providers and customers but are not a party to any actual service transactions or agreements between users. We do not:

  • Provide the services listed on the platform
  • Employ or supervise service providers
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered
  • Verify credentials or qualifications of service providers beyond basic verification

3.3 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the platform without liability.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of STRIDESG, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. STRIDESG will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

4.3 Email Verification

You must verify your email address to activate your account. We may send verification codes and important account notifications to your registered email address.

4.4 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm our platform or other users.

5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Transmit spam, junk mail, or unsolicited communications
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from our platform
  • Use our platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or ratings

5.2 Content Standards

All content you post must:

  • Be accurate and truthful
  • Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or hateful material
  • Not contain explicit or adult content
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Respect the rights and dignity of others

5.3 Compliance with Laws

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of STRIDESG complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to business licensing requirements, tax obligations, and consumer protection laws in Singapore.

6. Service Provider Listings

6.1 Listing Requirements

Service providers must:

  • Provide accurate and complete descriptions of their services
  • Set fair and transparent pricing
  • Have the legal right to offer the services listed
  • Possess necessary licenses, certifications, and insurance
  • Comply with all relevant industry regulations
  • Update listings promptly when services change or become unavailable

6.2 Listing Content

Service providers retain ownership of their listing content but grant STRIDESG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute such content on our platform for the purpose of operating and promoting our services.

6.3 Quality Standards

We reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any service listing that does not meet our quality standards, violates these Terms, or is deemed inappropriate for our platform.

6.4 Service Provider Obligations

Service providers agree to:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Deliver services as described in their listings
  • Maintain professional conduct in all interactions
  • Resolve disputes with customers in good faith
  • Comply with all applicable tax and business regulations

7. Transactions and Payments

7.1 Platform Role in Transactions

STRIDESG facilitates connections between service providers and customers but is not a party to any transaction. All contracts for services are directly between the service provider and the customer.

7.2 Pricing and Fees

Service providers are responsible for setting their own prices and clearly communicating all costs to customers before providing services. STRIDESG may introduce platform fees in the future, with advance notice to users.

7.3 Disputes

STRIDESG is not responsible for resolving disputes between service providers and customers regarding payments, service quality, or contract terms. Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly and in good faith.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 STRIDESG Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of STRIDESG, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, are owned by STRIDESG or its licensors and are protected by Singapore and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our platform for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any aspect of our platform
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks or branding without written consent

8.3 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to STRIDESG but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and promoting our platform.

8.4 Copyright Infringement

If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at stridesg.cs@gmail.com with details of the alleged infringement.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Platform "As Is"

STRIDESG is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 No Guarantee of Services

We do not guarantee that:

  • Our platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Service providers will fulfill their obligations
  • Services listed will meet your expectations
  • Any information provided by users is accurate or reliable
  • Defects or errors will be corrected

9.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of services provided by third-party service providers listed on our platform. Users engage with service providers at their own risk.

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, STRIDESG, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of our platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9.5 Maximum Liability

In no event shall STRIDESG's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of our platform exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless STRIDESG, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of our platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another user or third party
  • Your content or service listings
  • Services you provide or receive through our platform
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by accessing your account settings and following the account deletion process. Upon termination, your right to use our platform will immediately cease.

11.2 Termination by STRIDESG

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Your actions harm or may harm our platform or other users
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue our services

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to our platform will be immediately revoked
  • Your profile and listings will be removed from public view
  • Outstanding obligations remain enforceable
  • Provisions intended to survive termination will continue to apply

11.4 Survival

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive any termination of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12.2 Jurisdiction

You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of STRIDESG shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12.3 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at stridesg.cs@gmail.com. We will work in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

12.4 Waiver of Class Actions

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as a class action, consolidated proceeding, or representative action.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes may be necessary due to legal, regulatory, or operational reasons.

When We Make Changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our platform
  • Changes become effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated
  • Your continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

If you do not agree with modified Terms, you must stop using our platform and may terminate your account. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
